He posits that FF programs are moving away from a mileage-baaed program to a points/revenue-baesd program in the next year. Not a lot of news there ... other than the timeline is pretty clear rather than saying "sometime in the future." His column seems to be more than idle speculation as he says he has seen the charts and they are not pretty.

I am only 18,500 miles from 2MM so I may need to accelerate my travel so hopefully I an lock in "annual complimentary" Gold for life...if that isn't taken away.
