I am trying to decide between the SPG Heathrow airport hotels and staying downtown London (choice hotels since I cannot afford SPG hotels).

The SPG airport hotels have terrific value, family and club rooms offering triple points for stays. (May be able to double dip with current "better by the night" promo?).

My alternative is to keep my current reservation using points at the Hyatt Churchill.

Should I save my Hyatt points and stay at the airport? We would be taking public transportation each day to visit London. Is it worth it to save points and have club access?
