Best I can tell is that the way things are right now, there's no way to revert back to 5.1.1 on the 4s, even if you have the blobs. They might eventually figure something out for the 4s and when they do, you will probably need the SHSH blobs to do it, but there's no guarantee that will ever happen.

unique to that device and the ios version. When I open tinyumbrella its got a list of SHSH blobs for each device, each ios version that it saved.
Bottom line is it's always a good idea to get and save those SHSH blobs before you do an ios upgrade.
tinyumbrella is your friend, even for non jailbreakers.
