The CS is quite good. The refund I gotten was the full amount in local currencyy, i.e. no loss on my side, although the local currency strengthened. Most merchants' refunds would be in foreign currencies and if weakened, the refund after converting to local currency will be lesser than what was paid.

One time we needed two rooms and only 1 room was available at the special rate, one available at the 'regular' rate. After purchasing the special rate the other room disappeared. I called Agoda and, while on hold listening to Bob Marley 'I don't want no waiting game for your love', they called the hotel who released another room.
To me that is quality CS.
