It's hardly worth worrying about, but I'm BAEC Gold, and have just booked a pair of economy seats for myself and my brother to fly Dublin-London in December. It must be old BMI metal, I guess, and flying into T1.

What puzzles me is that when I went in to seat choices, a lot of the front of the Y cabin was not available to me, including the Exit seats, despite being a Gold member. On a flight this short, I don't really care, but as a point of principle I am confused.

Also, does anyone happen to know what, if any, lounge access I get in DUB as a Gold?
