This will be my first time visiting Mexico and I had a couple of questions. I've read that I will need a tourism card since I am flying into Mexico and I am from the US? Is that accurate? I've also read that usually you obtain these on your flight and the fee is included in your ticket price. However, plane tickets, resort reservations etc are all being taken care of by one of my friends' mother (who will be coming along with us) through a travel agent in Canada. Now, I'm not sure about this but do Canadians need a tourist card like Americans? So would that be included already in the airfare as it was purchased from a Canadian travel agent? Would they hand those cards out on the direct flight from Canada to Mexico? Since I am arriving from another country that is not the US will that cause any issues at customs or immigration?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks!
You will be ok. Enjoy your trip to Cancun from/via Canada.
