And if BA were to offer any international services at all out of a non-LON airport, it would undermine their demands for LHR capacity. That, IMO, is the main reason that there are no international services out of MAN or GLA. It's not lack of demand, impracticality or anything else. It's a case of "if we do that, we will never get our third runway".
