You might want to see if you can fly BA instead of EI, the good news is that BA now have several (8??) flights a day LHR/DUB, so in the event that there is a strike, you might find some protection, of course that is assuming the unions at DUB don't go out also
I can go on AF from AMS, so that's no worry, except that my flight from DUB to LHR on Friday 26th is on EI connecting to VS to YVR. I wonder if I should get a BA ticket just in case and hope that VS will accept me on that basis that EI has gone on strike..
