This last summer on our way to Sveti Stefan in Montenegro which we loved, we had to overnight in Dubrovnik. We stayed in the Villa Dubrovnik which is a Virtuoso property and I would recommend. Although it cannot compare to the Aman, it was right on the water with gorgeous views, had decent service, and pretty good food. They had a boat transfer to the old town during the day as well. Although I would not in any way rank it as one of my favorite hotels in the world, i would definately rank it above the Hilton, and I do not know the Bellvue, but based on my research it was more appealing - but again, did not see the Bellvue.
