Way too much drama in my opinion. The Hotel spokesperson, Lisa, seems pleasant yet one of her phrases made me shudder .."We're sticklers for rules (I like that)".
That is the kind of attitude I expect at the DMV and from my child's 1st grade teacher, not from a hotel company that gets 100+ nights a year of my business.
Sorry to hear you cancelled your stay- now it's my turn to shudder. I seriously hope it was not over the stickler comment... In my view, who wants to deal with everchanging hotel policies? Or be a the mercy of "he who screams the loudest" decison-making? Our policies are clear, fair and keep us running.
AND... while I have not worked at a DMV, I can say that my 10 years as a nanny has come in handy in the hotel business.
