Which word did you change? Is this the response where LPM threatened legal action because of defamation? Or is that in another response?
If so, "added to his frustration" is quite the understatement of the century!
Can someone post their threats?
Threatening legal action goes so far beyond a crappy breakfast, some idiotic front desk manager, or dishonesty. WAY BEYOND THE PALE.
Pretty scary stuff that a starwood hotel would take people to court for a negative review.
SPG Lurker: Is that acceptable within SPG policy? If so, makes me wonder if I should go back to the Four Seasons. Scary stuff.
No legal action was threatened by the hotel (ever), which seems to be your belief (Wolfson also clarified this in a later post).
I chose to to use the word "defamed" in my original post. When exception was taken with my word choice by the guest I changed it to something along the lines of "shared his opinion." Defame is not an exclusively a litigious word, it certainly has a tone... not one that I intended so I changed it. That's what edit buttons are for.
