I have an upcoming trip to Jakarta. I'll be going from SFO. Kayak told me my best options, pricewise, in Y, were China Airlines or Korean Air.

I have never flown either one of these. From what I have seen, Korean Air is pretty good, yes? Will my Skyteam Elite status be recognized? Do they have an economy comfort concept? Will I be able to select my seats online?

What about China Airlines? I have not heard anything about their service, and I have no idea how the travel experience would be.

BTW, will I have trouble having MQM recognized for traveling with either of them?
