Boy, do I feel lame. In 2003 I started up the "Looking Young & Being Elite Thread" ... and here I am in 2012 trying to figure things out again. Boy do I feel old!!

I was away from the travel game for a while, but I'm two segments away from United Silver (I know, Silver is sad, but gotta start somewhere) and trying to get back in the swing. Anyhow, can someone confirm. If I'm Silver on United, will this get me priority benefits on US Airways? From what I read online, the answer is no, but I talked to a gate agent in BOS and she said my star alliance status should show up on my boarding pass. True or False?
