Sorry to bump an old thread - Just wondering if I could get some updated info.

On Friday morning I need to drive from Rancho Mirage (Palm Springs - Specifically here) to LAX. I want to arrive at LAX at 9:30AM.

What time should leave to be safe? Is the info on this thread still correct?
