Ok, this is simply madness. I just booked a king room at the Skirvin Hilton in Oklahoma City for November. 2 night stay at a great rate. At the end of my online reservation process on the Hilton website, it give me the option to "guarantee your upgrade" using points. Now I've stayed at this hotel 60+ nights. As a Diamond, I get a suite upgrade about 40% of the time. There is no Executive Lounge or Executive Floor. But for 90,000 points, I can get a guaranteed "deluxe room". Are you kidding me??? More points than a night at the Grand Wailea! For a "deluxe room"? All that means here is a better view on a higher floor. How freaking stupid does Hilton think we are? We all know how many stays it takes to accumulate 90,000 points.

This simply defies explanation.
