Another option that most people would prefer is to transfer the points to certain airline (i.e. AA to redeem on Oneworld partner Qantas). You didn't say where you are moving from so depends where you are, you will have to pick the best airline program to transfer to. You get 5,000 bonus for every 20K points transferred. I have been told business class is much more points needed?it was possibly and option so what is recommended using spg to redeem the points or to transfer to a airline?i worried transfering to a certain airline that i cant find anything on the dates i want etc,but im flexible on dates but cause we have or at the time of going will have a 8/9 month ols baby was thinking of night flight.
I was wondering how someone works out taxes,i thought using this there was maybe nothing to pay or much to pay but even with all my points i can maybe still pay a lot on taxes,i hear flying from aberdeen to another country eu might be cheaper on taxes,wish i knew in advance what taxes are.
Wish i had all the broken down with who or what program is best,who offers most points,what i can get for my points versus another,what taxes i have on each airline if picked,if i fly from aberdeen to london,use singapore who are my prefered airline,so many choices,and not sure what to do or go from here.
once points are transfered that be it i be too late to change my mind,wonder why singapore offer you 5000 points for every 20,000 done??and offer discounts etc etc and spg ask more etc
