HGV is taking over a property at Canyons Resort that has never been occupied. It is next to the Hyatt. Perhaps it had been marked for Hyatt expansion of a Hyatt timeshare, but it never fleshed out. They are still hiring staff, and supposedly don't yet have their occupancy certificate. It'll be interesting to see if they do open in time for Canyons opening day (NOV. 23)...
