That said, I would say there's a 95% chance this is a factory goof that no one at Hertz was aware of (and likely 95% of Hertz employees wouldn't even understand what the issue is, as
TRD_808 said).
Gearheads have a hard time understanding how normal people can be so apathetic and unknowledgeable about cars, trims, specs, and the like,
but trust me...a lot of people can't even tell the difference between a Corolla and a Camry. 
Funny you mention that. I was on Instagram the other day and some young girl posted a picture of her gray Corolla saying that she's happy to be driving again.....and tagged it #Camry. Fail!
Oh and you should have seen me at SFO trying to explain I wanted a Camry SE instead of the LE if possible. The counter rep looked at me confused and said they're all the same. I tried explaining that no, I see there are SEs on the lot (sportier, with a sunroof) and the really plain LEs. All I got was a blank stare
