Mrs Schmidt and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Bellevue last week. Arrived early into DBV and were at the hotel by only slightly after 9am but they checked us straight into a room with absolutely no fuss (or request for additional charge). I wouldn't say the decor of the room fitted my idea of luxury, but it was very decent and the view was stunning.
We also did the tasting menu with wine pairing in the restaurant for dinner. Both food and wine were very good, though they need to work a little on the delivery. Whilst the quality and presentation of the food were very good and the service prompt and efficient, we would have liked some deeper descriptions of both food and wine from the waitress. We coaxed some basics out her (and it wasn't a language issue) but after about the third course we pretty much gave up on trying though to be fair the wine is a heavy pour so we were probably reasonably "relaxed" by then.
