I had this for a brief time with a solution called Box2Box from Datto where they were using some sort of custom linux build. The drives would find one another over the LAN or the Internet and then keep one another in sync.

The solution eventually became unsupported for some reason, but they did give me a complete refund. I haven't found anything like it since.

I want to NAS RAID boxes stored at physically separate locations that remain in sync, yet offer local LAN access to the synchronized data. Best of both worlds.

I have looked high and low, nothing. Synology seems to be the darling of the SOHO market, and they can't offer bi-directional replication.

Anyone?
