Ever since T3 got the NoS, the clerks at SFO have only been running one lane at the main elite area, and just the NoS at the other elite portion (not just for GS these days).
Last trip through SFO, they've got an unused WTMD lane, which I'm going to bet will turn into the Pre-Check lane. It will be interesting to see how they implement it.
Friday night had only one lane open (the one along the wall and fortunately it was not crowded)

They told me that it will be lane 4--the one closest to the international terminal. It has a WTMD immediately adjacent. I was told 11/15 for the start of the program twice now by two separate agents.
And 11/15 was confirmed for me this past Friday evening
