Well yes, a bit like Costco, but different in a big way in that Costco has its own brands, very American, that I can not get here in Beijing, which is what some people miss about Costco Ha, but one good thing in Beijing and not in Kaoshuing is Nicks Mart (maybe 5% size of a Costco, but 3 min walk out my door)) here in Beijing sells many single size American food items, abit not as cheap as Costco but not in bulk! I guess there many like small markets in Shanghai, but I do not know where they are.
