Hi everyone,

I've done a lot of reading here on R class and latitude and still need to ask for some advice and info.

I am on B fare from CHS-ORD-YYZ-LHR on October 16
and then LHR-YYZ-ORD-CHS on October 26th.

Originally had R upgrades YYZ-LHR and then again LHR-YYZ. Had to change the outbound to a few days earlier and lost the R on the return! (stupid no? I only changed the outbound and they took my R seat on the return??? I HAD the seat!)

I am wait-listed now on the LHR-YYZ at this point.

Wife is E, I am nothing on AC. (I am *G on USAir) She used her many e-upgrades for this as I am a nominee, and she is NOt traveling with me.

So now what?

I read that her status as E on AC is used right now as I am wait-listed this far out. But then what? How will I be treated on the WL when the SE, E and P windows open? How will I be treated at the airport if it does not clear?

I understand that upgrades are a gift, but I booked B to get them and am simply stunned that the seat I had on that same return flight was taken from me just for changing the outbound.

Anyway, what am I to expect as my chances from now to the return?
