Be careful of those incompetent ANA airport counter agents at SFO

I recent flew ANA from SFO to Tokyo with 2 family members, we have a lot of luggages-- 7 pieces all together, 5 exccess weight, 1 exccess piece. Of course we were prepared and paid the luggage excess fee. So the agent gave us a stack of barcode luggages receipts, but I didn't not count them.
We could not find one luggage when we arrived, and we had no receipt for that one, I then found out I was only given 6 barcode receipts.
I contacted ANA, and they denied ever seeing that 7th peice of luggage. So I have been spending hours talking to them and sending them all information I had, and hoping somebody on their side will make an effort to find the luggage, but so far, this is not happening.
It's a shame that ANA provided such a great in-flight services, but behind those smiley faces, there is a really incompetent ground crew.
Of course I should blame myself for not counting the barcode receipts upfront at SFO check-in counter.
So, I am posting my experience so other people will not make the same mistake.
