Note also that the Discover Card quarterly 5% bonus right now is "online shopping", up to $1500 in purchases, and there's no foreign transaction fee. So if you happened to find someplace that takes Discover, and processes the transaction online (not via someone keying in your card number in a traditional store terminal) that might help.
Most of my purchases are on "deal" sites at steep discounts. I doubt the concierge would be able to find me those prices. And what's more, these websites are all UK based. So even though Discover might not have a foreign transaction fee (I didn't know that!), none of these websites accept Discover.

If I had the Chase Ink, I might have tried getting the Vanilla cards at Office Depot, for the "auto" 5% cashback
But I don't. So I just used my CSP.
And thanks for reminding me about Discover's cashback offer this month! I had forgotten about it!
