Air Canada marks industry first with exclusively electronic ticketing within Canada. In January 2003, Air Canada will become the first airline in the world to move to exclusively electronic ticketing for domestic travel. E-ticketing is a key initiative in our ongoing efforts to reduce costly processes while maintaining and enhancing customer friendly service. Electronic tickets are available for travel operated by Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz throughout Canada to almost all U.S. destinations, and to a number of international destinations.

If I read this communique correctly, the paper ticket on domestic runs is history beginning Jan 03.
