No it isn't one flight number all separate. But it is married segments. I just looked and 837 by itself shows R so I will try and do all five segments separately.

Looking to book W on all UA metal:
UA849 No R
UA837 No R
UA881 No R and it really doesn't so I expect to be waitlisted
UA882 No R and it really doesn't so I expect to be waitlisted
UA890 No R

All W but have to book UA flight number but ANA metal:
UA849 Has R exact same day, time and flight number
UA837 Has R exact same day, time and flight number
UA9711 Operated by ANA
UA9710 Operated by ANA
UA890 Has R exact same day and flight number
