Hi all,

I am flying back to the UK from Detroit, via JKF, to LHR.

DTW to JFK is through Delta and JFK to LHR is through Virgin (2 totally seperate bookings).

The DTW - JFK flight lands at 3.50pm and the JFK-LHR flight takes off at 6.00pm.

Is this cutting it too fine?

There is also a flight that gets to La Guardia at 3.30pm . .which I have discounted, as this is cutting it even finer right? With the airport change...

Will Delta check my bags all the way through to LHR if I ask in Detroit on the way home? Or should I bank on having to check out and back in at JFK.

If 6pm is too soon, then theres a 7.25pm flight back to LHR.
