When I go to the special page by Expedia where they do not name hotels, they show a 5 star at GVA for $150. Much the same is true when I use Hotwire. The description in both cases seems to factor that this is the Movenpick.
Am I looking at a decent price for Movenpick or will I like be disappointed with the hotel that shows up once payment is made?
I have still been working on this and I am uncertain what hotel Hotwire/Expedia is trying to give me for $150 a night. Hotwire has the hotel as 4 1/2 stars and Expedia has it as 5 stars. I cannot find another 5 star hotel at the airport with Hotwire when I combine airfare with the hotel which allows me to see the actual hotels in question. When I search for hotels only, the highest price one at the airport is the 4.5 - 5 star room at $150 a night.
So what are the odds that I could just walk up to the front desk on the day I want in, ask for their best rate and see if they would match STR and charge 120 Euros a night? I need two rooms but that doesn't seem to help save any money since the price on the Movenpick web is a bit over $200 a night.
