I have made a booking on BA.com, Belfast to London, departing 21st Oct, returing 26th. When making my booking I entered my BAEC number but after a bit of research I found that it will be better for me to enter my Avios number. At the minute I will be earning 1000 Avios + 40 tier points. However changing to Avios will get me 1000 points (500 each way) + 2000 bonus points for collecting via BA. Tier points are of no value to me as I am lowly blue and my membership year will expire soon.

Question: How do I go about changing my Frequent flyer number. I have tried the links on MMB but there is no edit field. Does this have to be done over the phone?
