If you end up with extra time, walk outside and find the lei stands. They are beautiful (not like the ordinary leis you see elsewhere).

I change planes in HNL often and it can take a long time to travel between the inter island terminal and the gate for the mainland flight. A 61 minute connection would stress me out, especially if I was not one of the first passengers to get off a large plane.
