I do the same as kdoughboy except I've now switched my dining purchases to Citi Forward, since I value 5 TYP (worth as much as 6.65 cents if and when I get a TY Preferred card) than I do 2.14 UR (especially since my bulk earnings are through Ink so my Sapphire UR points are a drop in the bucket). I decided my indifference price is 1.4 cents per UR point, so any restaurant over $4 (so most of them) go to Forward instead of Freedom. If Freedom gets 5X at restaurants, I take Forward out of my wallet for that quarter (since I value 1 UR > 1TYP) and use that solely for Amazon (also 5x).
Any generic transactions under $10 go to Freedom. Any >$10 travel go to Sapphire (unless better with Freedom). Any generic foreign charges go to BA Visa (until I cancel that), any foreign travel go to Sapphire.
