If the OP tells a friendly purser about his DM qualification early on, the purser might make special mention of it when welcoming elites in the preflight announcements or when thanking elites shortly before arrival. Recently I got special mention as the sole DM and MM on a flight. (I was surprised when the purser said I was the only one on EZE-ATL, but it was an elite-light day for travel which wasn't likely to have a lot of business travelers.)
