Does that mean they've fixed the issue of not being able to OLCI for intl flights for an id check (despite having scanned my passport in a kiosk last time)? Wishful thinking...
I hope it's fixed that as well. It still won't apply to destinations with visa requirements (like DEL for US citizens) of course.
