I asked the NH guy at the Mitsuwa demo recently at Arlington Heights, IL about the PJ issue, he said for the official policy, the PJ wasn't suppose to take home no matter F or C, but if one insist to keep it, then they can keep it.
Then they need to note as such on their website and inform CAs of this "policy" -- on every F flight I've been on, not only have I been allowed to take the sleepwear with me, the CAs have offered to find a fresh pair for me to keep!
