Absolutely avoid 1DE ... bathroom right next to it. Very annoying.
I personally think 1L is fine. I like the extra footrest room and have no problem getting out of the seat when my seatmate is sleeping (I'm 6feet tall). And even though that row is close to the galley, the curtains block most of the light.
