Connection risks:
- Delays detected early in YQR are easiest to correct as there are options through YYZ.
- Delays detected late at YQR (e.g. just before boarding time or after boarding) are harder to correct as the YYZ flight leaves close to the time of the YYC.
- Trip interuptions in YYC are very tricky to correct as the last applicable YYZ rescue option leaves at 13:10 with an EWR departure time of 12:25. Once the OP enters YYC US CBP there are no further rescue options that do not involve and overnight in either YYC or YYZ.
- YYC detected trip interuption has the possibility of doing YYC-YVR-EWR for a really late arrival into EWR.
