I'm a little frustrated with Hawaiian right now, and wonder if anyone else has ran into the same problem. We are booked to fly from Portland to Honolulu, and then from Honolulu to Kahalui... (since they eliminated PDX to OGG direct - thats a different rant...)

The problem is timing of the connections. We arrive at HNL at 2:25, and a flight departs to OGG at 3:26 - over an hour between flights. These are both Hawaiian air flights, in the same terminal. I did not see that as a problem. They have changed my reservation, saying the time between connections is to short. The instead now have us booked on a flight leaving at 4:55 from HNL - a layover of 2 1/2 hours at HNL.... I called to try to change this, and the representative told me the connections were two tight together.

Is this for real? has anyone else encountered this? We will be on the ground and watch two flight to OGG depart (3:19 pm and 3:26pm), but not able to proceed with our trip...

Suggestions anyone?
