You could try
La Trompette in Chiswick. It has a Michelin star, and is the sister restaurant to the Ledbury, which is probably London's best restaurant at the moment. You could get there on the Piccadilly Line (Turnham Green) or by cab, but you will still be eating very late.
When I read the OP I was going to suggest The Glasshouse in Kew which is part of the same group and similarly has a Michelin star.
