They don't normally inspect the contents of your bag so you should be able to bring snacks with you as long as your bag is small enough and you don't do anything stupid... It's difficult&very expensive to buy anything decent at the site. If you can't enter to the site with food, leaving your bag to the left luggage office is cheaper than buying a bottle of water (and being able to buy it you have to go to the other side of the entrance)...
