Also, I believe these 35K miles can be transferred to 70K HHonor Points. Which would be 140K if I did this for both cards. I see HHonors then has 2 credit cards, one through Citi and one through AmEx which would give me another 80K HHonors points.
So my question is, can I apply for all 4 of the above or will I run into problems doing so. Also, would it be worth more to keep the 70K Hawaiian miles instead of converting them to HHonors? A re HHonors really only a good deal if you use them for hotel reservation?
Thanks
I did a very similar churn recently and it was well worth it. I converted all the Hawaiian miles to HHonors and booked a stay at the Conrad Maldives. You can get great value per point at top tier Hiltons when you combine with AXON/GLON awards. For lower-tier Hiltons, the value per point is much lower (but keep in my Hilton points are very easy to earn).
I say apply for all four cards. You can decide later if you want to convert the Hawaiian miles or keep them for flights. That really depends on how your travel plans!
Oh, and don't forget you can get two of the Citi Hilton Visas at the same time!
