One of the great things about today's tech exercise clothing is that it dries quickly, so a quick hand wash in shampoo gets most of the funk out of clothes, and they dry fast enough that you won't travel with wet clothes.

I also use the instant coffee packs left in the room to de-funk my shoes. I put one pack in each shoe, sometimes even in my dirty clothes bag, and this seems to dramatically reduce the funky smell.
