I am a high frequency traveller on the FRA-BKK route and usually spend time talking to Thai FRA on the phone before I step on a plane . reason being that I am extremely specific about my seat choice . If I don't get what I want I change my schedule .

I may therefore tell you that there is no earthly power that can explain you which plane awaits you at the gate if you speculate on weeks ahead . In particular looking at the current situation where you have 3 possibilities flying 747 . There is absolutely no way to predict anything unless you ring BKK Thai asking which plane left . From my experience I see I chance for an old one about once every 20 days .

I am surprised to note that you see a 747 in early January since there should only be the A380 for TG820 / 821 and the lousy 777 for TG822 / 823 .
