As stated above, clear immigration, collect bags, clear customs, find the AA desk in the same area (before exiting the security door) and check your bags with them. They'll also give you the BP if you don't have one already. Exit the secure area, find the train to T3, go through security. You should have about 2 hours to enjoy the magnificent T3.
Will I have to claim and recheck my baggage ect?
Yes, but as stated above. Do not take your bags to T3 and recheck there. Recheck them in T5 itself.
I also have 4 hours wait for my connection I am assuming this will be plenty if time.
Plenty. You'll also be left with some time to enjoy the limited facilities offered by T3.
