The answer is yes.... Sometimes. You can always easily find out by segment by segment by search your depart/arrive airports and date.... Then choose your fare/class...then you have a seat preview link which shows if seats or pods. However, that said, we booked 763's with lie flat pods yyz-yvr-ogg.hnl-yvr-yyz.... Confirmed seats in f&k.... But last week, got a call indicating equip changed...still 763 but with seats and not pods.... Paid AC premium for pods, and now just in seats.
Just an example of not placing much reliance on seat maps for the Hawaiian routes. . . .on 28 December the HNL/YYC flight shows pods - but wait, the inbound flight from YYC shows 2 x 2's. One must be wrong !
