I believe AC is thinking of going 3-3-3 on the 787, so it may be only a matter of time. And who knows how snug the LCC is going to be. That said, between one inch of width and 2-3 inches of legroom(33-34"), not to mention vastly superior catering and IFE, I know which one I would choose every day of the week. Well I choose EK's increasingly evil twin TK

That aside, it beats AC/LH on frequency and destinations east of Europe by quite a margin.
