I flew HKG-BKK on 6 Oct as well as BKK-HKG on the 7th. My impressions are as follows:

- Love the open cabin without doors. Perhaps this was due to the short flight, but I definitely prefer the semi-suite atmosphere of TG's F cabin rather than a fully-enclosed box.
- There is quite a bit of storage room, especially on the window seats with the storage bins between the seat and window. OTOH, the middle seats have overhead storage. All seats have narrow spaces to hang coats behind a door.
- Row 2 has 3-4 windows, while row 3 has only 3 and row has only 2, IIRC. I definitely appreciated the view from my seat in 2A.
- The table, while large, was not as large as what I'm used to in NH F or some of the other Asian F products. There is a large ottoman across from the seat, so although the table is a bit cosy for two people seating will not be an issue.
- The panel to the side of the seat is indeed a purple night light, with a single setting.
- For some reason, while I was switching the IFE language, a CA announcement resulting in my IFE system freezing. I asked them to reboot it but they never got around to it... I didn't use it so it wasn't a big deal.
- There is a tail camera but apparently no nose or downward cameras.
- The lavatory is quite large with a separate seat and mirror for doing one's make-up, which I'm sure women will appreciate.
- The lounge is simply two pair seats on the starboard side of the aircraft opposite the lavatory. I wonder if it will really find much use.

I would stick with 2A if you are alone.
