Also the Costco ATMs don't charge me any fees when I use my California CU ATM card there. I don't think they charge any fees at all (but that doesn't include fees that B of A customers pay for going outside the B of A ATM network.)

The co-op ATM network used to be more extensive, I was surprised when I realized I could use it at the Pukalani Superette's ATM and a bunch of other convenience stores without surcharges, but it appears that has ended.
