ETA: This is a review about the airport DT not the French Quarter one.

I can't recall if I reviewed this place in the New Orleans master thread ... but what a dump. They used to be a Radisson and I'm guessing it was dumped by the brand (Radisson lets places get really bad before they are dumped).

The room was moist (beyond acceptable Southern moist -- I'm a Southerner). It was musty and the bathroom was mildew covered. I'm not normally I sickly person but at 3AM I woke up unable to breathe through my nose.

The AC unit sounded like it had a whole in it as I could hear the street noise like I was sleeping on a park bench. I seem to recall we were on the 4th floor.

The rooms weren't newly done in spite of the fact the the lobby was pristine. False advertisement if you ask me. I was so very glad to move hotels the next morning (we had been on a midnight flight and so chose to sleep the first night near the airport rather than downtown).

Nothing could compel me to return to that hotel and it's been almost two years since I stayed there.
