Beijing is North Asia, Bangkok is South Asia. IF you can find low award availability (very difficult and limited) it would be 22,500 each way -- but Delta doesn't do one-way tickets. One way or round trip is the same price. This would be 45,000 at best, most likely much higher since "Saver" awards are very limited.
